In Earthly Delights, Brandon Straus explores the relationships between queer consumerism, identity, and gentrification in the age of virtual experiences. In this video collage, he constructs a fever dream of online shopping and examines three-dimensional tools utilized in retail and real-estate. He creates abstract three dimensional spaces in sketchup, and layers them with products, men, and the architecture of Philadelphia. It was exhibited virtually at Fringe Arts 2020 in Philadelphia, and screened by El Hico Magazine of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
