"ECHOLOCATE (Cultivating Liminal Aesthetic Practices) was a sonic and visual art happening on April 24th, in which music acts Cry and LN Celestine sonically activated the iconic Haverford Skate House within the Haverford Arboretum.  Brandon Aquino Straus was invited to create an installation on the grounds. This event was curated by Zack Hill and CC McGee.

In this piece, "Thriller, Filler, Spiller" I contrast the landscape of english inspired gardens in the arboretum, with tropical waterscapes and plants. One video plays a synthetic ocean wave recorded in a video game level I built in unreal editor for Fortnite, on another, a mangrove forest in Siargao, and the third, a sunset on the ripples of water in Palawan, ultimately working to think through memories of place, belonging, and technology's mediation of memory.
